New Family Court online service The Family Court of Australia, in partnership with the Federal Magistrates Court and the Family Court of Western Australia, has developed an innovative service called File Search. File Search is a web based service which allows clients and their lawyers to view selected information about their family law matters on-line from their own PC. Much consideration has been given to the privacy and security of information and issues around client safety. Client addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and children’s details are not viewable. Where concerns such as family violence, child abuse or witness protection are raised, identifying information and/or Court files will be suppressed. File Search can be accessed through the Family Law Courts website  and the Family Court of Australia website . Please contact the National Enquiry Centre on 1300 352 000.
